The ten February artists at Nes come from three continents and seven countries. They are Paola Leonardi from the UK, Nadine Poulain from Germany, Jee Hee Park from Korea, Mari Mathlin from Finland, Franz Rudolf Stall from France, Margaret Coleman, Anna Shorgren, Morgan Levy and Craniv Boyd from the USA and Erla S. Haraldsdóttir from Iceland.
The Open House this month will be held on Thursday 25th of February at 18:00-21:00 at the studio building at Fjörubraut 8.

The Open House, where the artists show the work they have been working on this month will be held on January 28th at 18:00-21:00 at Fjörubraut 8.

Open House at Nes Artist Residency.
December is a busy month in Iceland since tradition dictates that everything has to be spick and span for Christmas. At Nes Artist Residency we still want to take time out and have our monthly Open House for those of you interested in what the artists have been doing this month.
The Open House will be held on December 17th at 18:00. Everyone is welcome to join us to view the artwork and talk to the artists.
This month at Nes we have four artists residing with us. Elizabeth Tubergen and Elizabeth Mead from the USA and going on their third month are Oliver Gardiner from England and Di Ball from Australia.

Residing artists at Nes Artist Residency open their studios to the public at the end of each month to show the public what they have been working on since their arrival.
On Tuesday November 24th at 17:00 we invite all those that are interested to visit us, view artwork and talk to the artists about the work and their stay at Skagaströnd.
This month there are seven artists from three continents at Nes. Those are Oliver Gardiner from Englandi, Di Ball from Ástralíu and Elizabeth Tubergen, Diane Pierce, Crystal Z. Campbell, Lindsay Palmer og Shannon Sullivan from the USA.
Fleur Ball performs at The Country Bar.
The world famous Fleur Ball will perform on Friday night the 13th of November at 21:30 or right after the pub-quiz Drekktu betur. Or as she herself puts it:
Nes artist residency presents Fleur Ball - the Country and Western superstar from Australia.
Fleur will expertly sing her one hit song and attempt a few others from her. It’s easy to play country and western songbook.
